Eraring Public School

Eraring Public School is a small two teacher school on the Western side of Lake Macquarie.

The school was opened in 1924 with an enrolment of 26 students. Currently we have 32 students enrolled.

We would be delighted if you visited our site.

Eraring is an Aboriginal name meaning, "all that glitters and gleams." 

This is most appropriate as the community is on a small peninsular surrounded by the crystal clear waters of Lake Macquarie.
